Thornhill Young Liberals

The Thornhill Young Liberals is a dynamic group of youth representing the federal and provincial ridings of Thornhill. TYL is an accredited riding club with the Ontario Young Liberals (OYL) and the Young Liberals of Canada (YLC).

We are excited to be involved in creating and advocating on policies that can make a difference in the community. We hold social and community fundraising events. We volunteer for provincial and federal election campaigns in Thornhill. We help to make a positive contribution to the community.

TYL AGM Minutes

The Thornhill Young Liberals (Federal and Provincial) is required that, after each Annual General Meeting (AGM), it files relevant documents with the Ontario Young Liberals (OYL). The required documents are outlined in the OYL Constitution .

At each AGM, members of TYL(F) and TYL(P) elect a new Executive and amendments are made to the Constitution. The minutes from the TYL(F) and TYL(P) Founding Meeting, which took place on June 21, 2009, are made available here:

The Thornhill Young Liberals believe in the importance of ideas on national and international public policy. We encourage all members to engage with the policy process.

If you have a great policy idea or are interested in learning more about the policy process, there are numerous opportunities to get involved in policy development for the Ontario Young Liberals and the Liberal Party. Be in touch with us if you’re interested in working on policy development.
